Replacing F80 Fender
Hi all, unfortunately got a bad dent in my fender from a shopping card and was looking to replacing it. If Im able to find a fender from a salvage car to replace mine would I have any issues with colors between the new fender and the rest of the body?

Bad enough a good dent repair guy couldn’t fix? A good tech can do some shockingly good work. I would imagine if you bought another fender the only color difference would be from if there’s more swirls in your clear coat or the fenders clear coat
Edit: and even then l can’t imagine you’d be able to tell much of a difference |

I did get a PDR guy to fix it and the dent for the most part is gone. However, there’s some weird coloring and the area isn’t as smooth as I’d like. It’s somewhat of an eyesore for me.

Its your luck unless you can see the fender next to the car before buying. From my experience on replacing a hood the color was lighter than the body of the car. No one ever noticed it but me and it helped the the sun hit the hood differently than the body.
