Drive train malfunction.. Should I be worried

Earlier today I was driving home from work, drove over a patch of potholes and shortly after “drive train malfunction drive moderately” warning came up.. car was still shifting fine and made it home. I turned the car off and back on and the warning went away, I took the car back on the highway to see if the warning would come back. I drove it for around 40 minutes and the warning didn’t come back should I be worried and take it to service anyway?

This, invest in a wireless OBD connector and Download Bimmerlink at a minimum.
