Front bumper replacement - what to do with M Carbon splitters?

I had a smaller accident recently, it appears that my front bumper needs replacement.
Is there a way to dismount the BMW M performance carbon splitters? (they are unharmed) I heard that they are glued to the bumper.

It depends on how they were installed: 3M tape or Betalink. If the dealer installed it for you they probably used Betalink, which can be removed but will damage the original bumper. At least that's what my dealer told me.

Seems like you're replacing your bumper anyways, so it shouldn't be a problem!

What he said. Betalink isn't that hard to remove, just hard to do it without damaging the bumper underneath but that shouldn't matter in this case. 3M tape should also be relatively easy to remove. Just make sure you do some thorough goo-removal on the splitters before you try and re-install on the new bumper.
