Protective Mods for Stage 2 tune

So I'm adding downpipes and going from a stage 1 BM3 to stage 2 tune. No other mods. I understand pay to play and all that, but from those who have upgraded, are there any more protective mods that would help protect the car from an event that would need major engine work? Spark plugs? Crank hub? Etc. I know this is all speculation btw, especially in relation to the SCH. Any advice or guesses would be appreciated

I'd suggest doing the charge pipes for sure. You can run the step colder NGK plugs, but this isn't necessary unless you're changing fuel. SCH is a concern even at a stock tune, so it's up to you if you want to roll the dice or not.

I am heading in the same direction and just bought the charge pipe and j pipe combo from x-ph over the weekend. I got an email on Friday with their combo specials and jumped on it.
