What the heck!?!? LOL... a random company no one's ever heard of all of a sudden blows out a solid 10 sec 132mph 1/4 outta nowhere!? Does that DCT even have upgraded software? How much rwhp do these turbos put down!? ANY SPECS!??

Did anyone run that record breaking 708rwhp 6mt pure turbos M4 yet?? Or any of the other cars equipped with their turbos?

TPG has had the #1 1/4 time since last year. You're late to the party.

I want to say congrats and that this is an outstanding time... I also would like to quantify that a 335i making similar power w a manual tranny did this like 4 years ago... it's a great time but I like to keep things in perspective.

And you're forgetting that only one person has ever been able to get that time on a 335 and it took how long? 4 years worth of development? Yet 1.5 years later, the M4 has already reached what took the N54 so long. The S55 is just getting started.

2 obvious questions-

And once again, I keep things 100% objective, there is zero subjectivity in what I am saying here...

1) Are the M3 and 335i in the same class of car and do you consider them as such? Race heritage, chassis, price and overall class?

2) You said, is getting started... do you think this car will run 9s within 2 years? This one could be subjective but requires highly objective thinking . If you say yes... I will highly question your drag racing knowledge...

This car will be in the 9's. I doubt it will take 2 years to do so, but should be plenty of time.

My statement came out wrong.. I'm definitely aware of who TPG are and their accomplishments... I wasn't aware this was a TPG car on my initial post as all of the other threads (including TPG's itself) came shortly after news on this car came out...

I ment *no-name turbo's.* I can't wait to hear more about them... hopefully they're a big cheaper than $5K too

We're so in the infancy of these very capable platforms potential that even basic performance packages are record breakers left and right lol...

ps: Go get that 10-sec time on stock turbos! [sA x sky]

You want turbos to be cheaper than some exhausts? Hmm. Ok. Makes sense...
