Caliper Color
We are finalizing our order and noticed in the pics that there seems to be a bunch of different caliper colors. I assume the gold is for the CCB but is there a choice on the others, or does it depend on what the exterior is?

Gold = CCB, Blue = steel brakes. There is no other option.

It would have been nice to have had the option of different coloured calipers. It's only paint so would have been easy for BMW to have offered.....and made some more money off. Personally I don't mind the blue but would have been interested in other colours given the choice.

you can always get them painted later....not a big deal....although I don't think I've ever really seen the point of painting calipers....

I wonder if the M Performance callipers will fit... I would also like the red ones, to match MW/SO...
BTW, are the M3/M4 brakes the same brakes you can get on the regular 3/4 series? I believe the option is called M-Sport brakes... I have them on my F31, and even though I don't have complaints, I also don't have the 'wow' feeling about their performance...but maybe the performance hides in less fading, which is not really an issue in street use only ... |
