That triggers the “Check Engine” or “Service Engine Soon” light on the dashboard. The cars could lose power and stall. The problem can also damage the engine. "

The recalled cars are the 2010-12 1 Series, 2010-12 3 Series, 2010-12 5 Series, 2010-12 5 Series Gran Turismo, 2012 6 Series, 2010-12 X3, 2010-12 X5, 2010-12 X6 and 2010-12 Z4.

Looks like it is only with the N55 engine? Can anyone confirm this? I have a 2010 but N54....
