Fuel injector replacement, does it needs to be reprogram?
I have replaced one of my fuel injector and now the car drives like crap i have a fuel cut at around 3800rpm when going full throttle...
So my question is; does the new injector needs to be coded/calibrated for the car to run properly and equaly with all other injectors? -MK |

Yes, the injector value needs to be input into the dme with a service function in ista-d. The car will run without it though. Why did you replace the injector in the first place?

Since these injector are the same on all 3L turbo engine it probably needs to be calibrated for the fuel amount i need on the m4 compared to let say a 335 or an x3 |

probably a dumb question....
I came across having to replace my injector(s) as well and found out about it needed to be coded in. besides that, I also seen, EU5 and EU6 injectors both said would fit my 320i n20 (FCPeuro).... I've been looking everywhere as to how can I find out which one is for my car... appreciate the help! |

What they're likely referring to is if the index numbers match on the injectors (original and replacement), you can get by without programming.
