BM3 or JB4 S55 package (600hp)

Good morning ladies and gents. I have a 2018 bmw m4 comp pack and was wondering to hear your input. BMS sells a kit for 1,899 claiming to achieve 600hp is this a better route to take if i still want to keep my warranty? obviously i would remove all upgraded parts and put oem ones back on before taking to dealer. i was told by my service advisor at my dealership that they can still track BM3 even if you reset it back to stock settings... i like the fact that Bm3 removes speed limiter. has any one had warranty work and reverted thier cars back to stock with BM3? any input will help! thanks. i pasted the link for the jb4 600hp package.

Loaded topic, for sure.

You should search the forums as this has been addressed multiple times.

Lots of people revert back to stock with bm3 but if bmw really wanted to they can deny your warranty for a tune if they dig deep enough. Same with the jb4. Also depends on what you went to the dealer for.

If you want to be safe just don’t tune.

I agree. IMO, if you are really worried about the "warranty", it's probably better just to leave it stock... Although controversial, it seems extremely unlikely that BMW is going to pay for catastrophic engine failure in the event of ANY tune (yes, they are all detectable if the car is searched hard enough via FASTA data). So what are we really "warrantying" in this case?

Gotta pay to play
