October Allocations

When do they come out? Anyone know??

No one knows. The latest build week I've seen someone say they have on their allocation up to now is week 43. So in fact, I think all october allocations were already released. So the next round of allocations that does come out I think will not have a build week any earlier than november.

But that's just my best guess, since no one really knows. :/

I was told by a dealer he will have his next ones beginning of October. Not sure about build week.

They are typically released at the beginning of each month; however, allocations that were released at the beginning of August may have included allocations for August thru October. The Sales Manager I worked with at my dealership communicated this to me and I've seen others on this forum mention they were told the same. I'm not sure how much truth there is to it all. We'll all know more within the next 7 days or so.

Please note that dealerships that are telling you exactly when they will be getting allocations are not being honest with you in that they don't really know, they can only estimate. Large volume dealerships are almost always guaranteed to get allocations when they go out, but even they don't know the exact date.

August 2-6, allocations went out over this span of several days. This is the last time allocations went out. The big volume dealerships got as many as 20+, while some dealerships got 0. And the allocations were for build weeks that were september and october.

I would say a safe bet is that early october there will be allocations that will go out for at least november build weeks. Also note that M4 allocation and M3 allocation are NOT interchangeable.

To the OP - if you are asking about October Allocations FOR OCTOBER BUILD DATES then the answer is that the current allocations are for week 43 of 2015 (3rd week of Oct).

IF you are asking for October Allocations for NOVEMBER BUILD DATES, then they are not out yet.

Allocations come out at the beginning of the month for builds of the following month. So early October will be for car built starting mid-end of October and completed in November.

Keep in mind that BMW may do another multi-month allocation release in October. I wouldn't be surprised if they release allocations through the end of calendar year all at once.

Following, I placed an order/deposit a week ago. I hope I get an allocation, especially if a multi-month allocation release is correct. Otherwise I'll be waiting a loooonnngggg time.....
