That's funny I had major problems with Parkview BMW as well when I bought my 2004 325ic, they must be one of the worst!

Yup $1200 for a car wash that makes the car look worst then when it was dirty.

Fantastic trip and job well done taking all the photos and tracking shipping!

BMW is the industry leader in European delivery, and IMO, it has been a wise business strategy. Builds owner loyalty, attracts positive PR. I got a 1600ti from a GI in Germany many years ago. Followed by a series of 2002s that I got in the USA used. Finally got to go back to Munich to get a 323 in 1998, then a 335 with my son in 2006 (see ED link in my sig), and next week, a M3. Planned a similar route: Munich - Neuschwanstein - Como - Portofino - Grossglochner - Munich.
