" now and I've got too many machines to run in my home at the moment" AKA it's no longer profitable to mine with the current difficulty and price hence why the Antminer S9 that were selling for $6k in January are now $499 OBO on eBay

Actually at the time of posting the machines were plenty profitable. I literally could not run any more more machines at my place because the AC system cant keep up during the summer with more than 10 machines running and I had 14 machines. No point in keeping machines that are sitting around not running right?

interesting do you have test and hashrates for each machine and logs of what the GPUs were running at temp wise as well as wattage usage from the wall from each machine ?

Ethash algorithm coins are around 250Mh/s, Equihash coins are between 3500 and 4000sols/s depending on 1070 vs 1070 Ti machines. There are many different algorithms out there with different hashrates. GPU temps depend on the coin you are mining and the specific GPU type, but on average for my ETH operation GPU temps are around 55-65 degrees Power consumption for 1 machine on Ethereum is around 960W at the wall, All of these machines are NVIDIA cards, there is no wattman software (AMD only). The machines use MSI Afterburner to reduce power levels and change clock settings. I don't keep extensive temp logs but the software is setup with temperature limits, so for example if my air condition fails and ambient temp rises (which it has in the past) the software will automatically reduce power consumption to the GPU's to meet temperature limits. |

Nvidia GPU's have locked BIOS. They are not like the AMD RX Series cards where you can change memory timings via BIOS flash. To the best of my knowledge at this time, there are no readily available bios modifications for any of the Nvidia Pascal based cards.
That said, a well tuned RX580 8GB, will do around 30Mh/s. A properly clocked GTX 1070 will do 31.5Mh/s without bios mods. And using less power. Than the RX580's |

GLWS idk if you've seen recently the price for rigs have plummeted. Check reddit/r/minerswap and you can find rigs like yours selling for 1500-2500. |

Yea I realize prices got hammered not too long after these were posted. I have some flexibility on prices. But these are not "rigged up" rigs with zip ties and built on wire racks. These are high build quality machines and well setup for stability and performance. Not to say you cant get the same performance for less. But these are good parts, good warranties, good build quality machines. Might end up parting out if anything.

Hey! I stumbled across this post and totally feel you. It seems like mining crypto isn't as popular anymore, and personally, I prefer trading too. If you haven't tried it yet, you should definitely check out trading. CHF/EUR ( https://fbs.com/trading/specs/eurchf ) is a pretty cool pair for trading. Just FYI, I'm a noob to this forum, and all of this talk about crypto had me wanting to chime in! Good luck if you end up trying trading.

Hey, I'm into mining, too. I've found that using software and tools like AsicMiner Compare at asicminercompare.com can really help optimize mining operations. It's all about maximizing profits and efficiency. Plus, exploring different software options like NiceHash and Claymore Miner can also enhance your mining experience. Best of luck with the sale and optimizing your setup!
