Hey, this is awesome! I don’t know how I haven’t found this post before! Maybe because I’m always lurking in the M2 section. Are you still in Kuwait? BuLoOoSki
Loved the videos and such a conclusive review. Did you also flash the GTS transmission? Thoughts? Last edited by MYK; 07-01-2019 at 10:16 AM.. |

Yeah, I did the GTS transmission flash as well. You do feel some marginal differences, but nothing night and day. I felt that shifting was a bit smoother with less jerking in lower gears driving in traffic.

Nice videos man!
Have you ran any other M5's? I'm curious to see how it compares as that was my last vehicle, I just picked up an 2015 M3... On my M5 I was stage 2 w/ Catless (dyno'd at 650whp/670wtq) and I was beating stage 2 M3's by a fair amount so I expected to get slower but this video shows otherwise! |

BM3 OTS STG2 S63TU will definitely beat a STG2 S55/M3 I ran a friend previously 3x and he had an extra passenger and we were neck and neck only because he had more weight. Now I think the E30 or a Custom Tune on the M3 will beat most M5 if properly tuned.

The M5 I ran against in that video had a full c@tless setup + BMC filters and as per the owner he said he had the Jahare Edition tune on it. However, talking to a few guys who were there they said that he actually has a JB4 but was embarrassed to say So not sure, but either way to me it's for the fun of it. I've run recently with an M5 that had a BM3 stage 2 custom tuned by HCP (Halim) + Downpipes + BMC filters. With the 93 Octane BM3 Stage 2 OTS tune on my M3 that only has downpipes, he had me by 1-2 car lengths. I ran against him with the BM3 E30 OTS tune using multiple rolling speeds, at lower rolling speeds (60KM/H) I'd have him by one car length. At rolling speeds of 110KM/H he'd have me by less than a car's length.

If you ran the full E85 tune you would give him the bus at lower speeds if you can put the power down. My M5 struggled until it hit 60+ mph due to weight. |
