100-200 times F80
Just curious of everyone's times?
100-200 60-130 My f80 hit the dyno and made 650whp, 600 torque, but it does really seem slow on the times but in races it demolishes everything I race. After a lot of searching throughout the forums guys are doing 7 seconds or less with just a basic tune and down pipe. How is this possible? My car is definitely faster then it's old bm3 stage 2 tune, based on a few cars I couldn't beat but now pull lengths on them. 100-200 was 7.6sec 60-130 8.0sec I'm using ecutek performance analyzer for results. Crank hub Mishimoto oil cooler Wagner tuning charge cooler Wagner tuning charge pipes Active auto werk down pipe Pure stage 2+ turbos Custom ecutek RACEROM 4 maps Custom DCT tune BMC air filters Running 94 Mobil pump |

just throwing this out there to cover all possible options of potentially slower times than expected:
Make sure the car is full boost, full throttle, pants-on-fire kill mode well before 100 kph or 60mph so you enter the 'test zone' at maximum acceleration. I've seen a lot of people (not even on this forum) get sad with their times only to find out people are starting the test at a speed at or to close to the trigger speed (100kph, 60mph, etc.) and it's not allowing the car to build boost and get up to maximum acceleration before the timing starts so they are starting at a disadvantage. |

I did some testing yesterday and I will have mine times stock vs bm3 stage 1 once I get dragy. btw on 2nd gear its hard to get traction :/ and you need to make a gear change just after 100kmh. |

I just finished testing tonight. Here are the results: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...16&postcount=1
Def 3rd gear as a start point and still got a lot of wheel spin. I started at 3rd with 60kmh and then all the way to 100kmh to start dragy counting the time. Secondly you need to turn off DSC completely. I cut 0,5sec just by turning it off comparing to MDM times. |
