Anyone else M at port waiting for the boat?
BMW Canada confirmed my car is waiting at the dock. Also got my VIN today. My car was finished on Friday June 13. Just want to see who else is going to be on the same boat.
I am also predicting the port of exit is Bremerhaven, Germany with a transit time to Halifax about 14 days. I work in logistics so I can trace the vehicles once they are in Canada and loaded onto rail (assuming CN). |

Mine is supposed to be in production this week, so I'm just behind you but not likely on the same boat. I'm definitely interested in how you can track shipment across Canada

As long as I have the vessel name/VIN (once it is loaded on CN rail) then it would be easy to see the current position. Mind you how accurate the information is online is dependent on the carrier. CN is generally pretty good.

Well, I just checked with BMW and my production is complete, so perhaps we will be on the same boat. I'm going to follow up with my dealer and see if I can get a better fix on where the car is right now (Bremerhaven?)

Well things are improving; I finally have confirmed from BMW that the vehicle's "started assembly" which I assume is equivalent to status code 153. With any luck I may be on the same boat as you

Oh Lord! Having put my deposit down last December I'm almost at my wits end. Now I have to pray that our cars don't meet this untimely end :
http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/off...-wreckage.html Still, I'm figuring that if all goes according to plan, my car should be in my hot little hands mid-July. |

Nice at least another forum member is on the same boat. Well I wouldn't think there are too many because BMW is only sending 400 M3/4 combined this year. think we should consider ourselves lucky. Where in Canada are you?

I'm told that my car arrived in Bremerhaven on the 16th but it looks like it did not make the Manon because the VIN is still "no record found" on the Wallenius website. Next boat is the Independence II which leaves on the 24th and arrives in Halifax on July 7th.
