1 mph difference in traps is negligable... I would see these differences the same day on the same tune, run after run. How you shift will also play a role in this.

1 run 1mph up and then 1 run 1mph down and vice versa.

Im doing exactly this. I was travelling in Europe last month and got a copy of both EVO and Top Gear that reviewed the cars. Since Im a magazine Junkie anyway, I get most of them delivered already (how can you say no to $5/year?)

I honestly think that keeping them all will be a positive factor when its time to sell in the far distant future, if ever. I can send you a list of the magazines I already have from the past few weeks if that helps.

A difference in 1.3mph in trap speeds is what I would call "normal variation". Even on the same day, with the same car. I don't know their testing procedure here, but remember to that simply different levels of heat soak can produce this variation in N/A and turbo cars.

Bottom line is it's a 118-119mph trap speed car. That needs to be put into perspective:

The 2007 911 turbo, considered to be brutally fast with 480hp, trapped 118-119mph consistently.

In other words, I expect the same in gear thrust (not launch) as a 997.1 911 turbo. Which is bonkers.

Wow finally some stats I've been waiting for! 60-0 in 104 for a ~3600 lb car is impressive in my opinion (thank you Brembo, Michelin, and BMW ///M for combining the two in a proper config ). 1 g on the skidpad, and quarter miles at 12.1 @ ~118 mph oh hell yes!

Well aren't you lucky I am here to publicize myself?

A couple of months ago I assembled a lot of the original E9x reviews into one thread so folks could see was not all sunshine, lollipops, etc.

We may not have an autobahn but down here in Texas we have the next best thing: 85Mph freeway from Austin to San Antone.

Add the usual 10% speed limit "limit before getting a ticket" and that brings you closer to 95Mph. Not a bad speed to be cruising at!
