CCB caliper paint code?
Hi Guys I'm Gino. I follow this Post very frequently. ITS THE BEST! Unfortunately, I am not very good at writing. I had 3 M3s and one M4, now I'm waiting to pick up my new M4 at the dealer by october 3rd. Unfortunatelly someone was coming against the traffic in april and totaled my beutiful 8 month old AY M4, the good thing is that I only suffered minor injuries. Back to my new 2016 M4, although I loved the AY, it attracted too much attention for me so I chose BSM/SO and here comes the question... I did'nt choose the CCB because I don't take my car to the track and I heard that you have to warm them up first, noise and etc. etc. But I love the golden calipers on BSM so Please, does anyone know the color code of the CCB calipers? Thank you so much in advance.

Trust me, been there trying to match caliper paint. It's definitely Phoenix Yellow.
See Phoenix Yellow M3 below to refresh your memory what this color looks like. |

Hummm... They do look different. Let me dig though some old emails I have from when I had some calipers painted and let me confirm. Could swear it was Phoenix Yellow....

I think that you may be referring to the Yellow M Performance calipers in the F30, which I have in my 320i: They do look like Phoenix Yellow. I will post the name of the color used in the CCB calipers once they are finished. |

So was there a decision on what gold it was? It's not Phoenix that's for sure.

You know you can have them painted/PCd any color you want, it doesnt have to be the same as the CCBs.

I have the CCB option already on my car. I'm looking for the color to respray my engine cover to match. I originally went w a sakhir cover as well as the BMS intake the same color and now it's just way too much orange when I pop the hood. Just trying to tie it all together w the gold inside the engine bay.

Thanks, I saw that previously but nobody seems to know the paint code - or has ever heard of Meridian Gold.
The hunt continues... |
