I don't think the version we have on the F3X/F8X autobrakes. I've never sensed it braking and I've tried to test it out. Do we have any documentation that it does autobrake?

The previous poster had a memory fart. He retracted this comment on another thread I posted related to this very issue.

I believe it does. you can even set the sensitivity of it somewhere on your idrive setting. I hope to god you never have to experience auto brakes activating for obvious reasons.

Ok cool, I was going to say! I even checked out a 2015 M4 and it didn't have front view either...sheesh. Talk about spreading misinformation

Seems like this is now just an "expected" error anytime the above conditions takes place. Not sure I want BMW tinkering with my camera unless there's a CLEAR FIX for this.... -Tony

I have only 7K miles on my car so bringing it to the dealer for the "obligatory" oil change (which is included in maintenance for low-mileage cars). They don't reset anything and I'll be expected to return in about 6 months for another oil change. In addition to this, my service advisory did mention the SIB noted earlier and they will be changing out the part.

I had this problem on the day I took delivery and the techs looked at it. There was no fix or TSB at the time, but more recently for my 10k services, there was a TSB and it was replaced and now fix.
This particular issue happened to me on hot days in Cali when the car was parked outside in the hot sun. Would happen almost everytime, but has since been resolved with the replacement they did. Here's the relevant post: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...php?p=20623081

Collision Warning System Inactive
I have a 2020 M4 with adaptive suspension and installed Macht Schnell lowering springs. Accidentally broke the drivers side rear leveling sensor arm. I am now getting three errors Frontal Collision Warning System Malfunction, Chassis Stabilization, Daytime Pedestrian Warning reduced. I don't believe any of these errors would be caused just by a broken headlight leveling sensor and wanted to see if anyone had a better suggestion? I really don't want to have to goto the dealer and would like to figure out what could be causing these errors. One thing to note is with the control arm that connects the leveling sensor to the lower sway bar disconnected when I started the car I didn't notice these alerts. I then used JB weld as some posts suggested fixed the broken part on the leveling sensor, reconnected the arm and after I started it back up is when I noticed these errors. Any help or recommendations is greatly appreciated.
