It's wheel colour. Black/black tones will always appear more aggressive. However, the 666's are the opposite of aggressive. The 437's are a way more aggressive wheel than the 666's, and the 437's aren't what I would generally call 'aggressive.'

For my taste: too low and not the wheels I would have chosen.
I've always thought that cars that low look like they are to heave for their weight, like a person with bad posture.. And I would have gone for wheels with fewer spokes and maybe gun metal..not black though.
But hey, you made the car you want and not the car anyone else wants!

Otherwise really really nice! The color suits the car perfectly and all the interior details look fantastic!

Nothing like a proper "Arrest me Red;" my favorite color but the rims and hood gotta go. Looks like something out if fast and furious.

Don't like the GTS hood?

I really like the black interior with red stitching. It's unfortunate BMW didn't make that a standard full leather option.

I cannot agree more. I think its the colour contrast for me. OEM just seems to work better.

You're right. It's not the design of the 666's that do it, but rather the color. Darker wheels work so well with the red, shadowline trim, and other black bits on the car. All love regardless.

Well played sir.

The BBS wheels look much nicer than the stock wheel. But the color also plays a big part. Black wheels just don't do it.

Nice car, but some silver 666's and a not-so-aggressive drop would have made it that much better looking!

Slap your stock hood back on at any point and your back to OEM!
Very nice! Thanks for letting me know! I know what to expect at the body shop when I paint mine now. Thanks again!

What a stunning car, wow. IMO the M3 is by far the most well-proportioned and beautiful car BMW currently builds. The M4 looks like a hog, and the M2 looks like a scuttle butt - almost like the designers were forced not to outclass the M4. It's almost as if they're missing something in the lineup... Like, an M3 coupe?

Anyhow, ruminations aside - this car is absolutely sick, I love it!
