Stop measuring dick sizes of whos car puts out better numbers on papers. And who has x,y,z mods and whp, and spent most $$$.
Ive seen plenty m3s drive faster on track then gt3s, and also seen plenty s2ks run faster than m3s.

Getting back on topic...for the most part I have guys in trucks always wanting to run it against me. Guys in trucks really think their cars are fast it's hilarious.

Blacked-out E60 550I sat on my bumper and then pulled out, wanting to race me (f80 M3 6MT) on a 65mph interstate. Only 2 things got in the way:

1) Just returning from Costco with a greasy, saucy fried chicken sliding around in the back.

2) Wife of 20 years, who I love dearly, complaining about "this car is so bumpy!"

I drove an E60 550I for 6 years and it was a fantastic car. Now the kid in the 550I thinks he beat an F80. And my wife is happy. It's a win-win.

Seriously though.. what's up with the trucks trying to race?

F-150 on the freeway today takes off on me as I approach to pass at about 70. I don't mind and even get a chuckle out of it.

He slows down as I pull up again.. just cruising along at 70.. and once again takes off. After a third time of this I wasn't having it. Dropped gears, threw a peace sign and was gone! Safely of course as I don't condone reckless driving. Slowed down back to 70 ish after I got ahead past some traffic.

Don't usually let it get to me but wasn't feeling like playing the games today.

Generally, people don't mess with me in the F80 but Mustang 5.0's sure do love me. On the way back home from work, Mexico highways are mostly empty at night.

Mods on my car - MPE, AA DPs and AlpineMSS Flash

I spun through 2nd gear.. owner was cool, gave me a thumbs up afterward and we parted ways.

i am one of the lexus is350 owners, a tuned '17 f sport. i'm not sure why other IS's try to even race me at this point, 250's that are slow as hell for one thing, one of them even went onto the shoulder of the highway to get away from me. not to mention stock 3rd gen IS350's and RC350's are slow af. mine only hits 60 in 5 seconds flat now before headers or anything. when i see M3/M4's i just pull up to admire/give them a thumbs up but never try to race because i'd be in the rear view mirror so quickly lmao. i have also entered "the genny zone" as well but never try with them either because as someone said before it's not worth the gas or time on a car like that

as you can see some of you may think it's ugly, which to each is own, but it def attracts the same kind of cars as M3/M4 owners (genesis, 370z, 328/428, 335/435, many nissans). if i ever see anyone on this forum one day i'll be driving by giving you a thumbs up and that's it haha

Former 2IS 350 Fsport owner here and just gotta say that I never understood the whole 'ultimate driving machine' jargon until I got behind the wheel of my F80... (cue the music) "I can see clearly now". Made the switch and simply can't stop smiling at what the F80 can do out of the box.
I was impressed with what the IS did out of the box since it was my first automatic car ever.
I was excited with what the Fsport shock and spring upgrade did to the handling.
Now I'm just blown away with the F80.

If you're considering it, bypass the ISF RCF and GSF and reward yourself with the pot of gold at end of the rainbow

i'd love an M in the future🤪the 2IS was actually faster than my current car too because they had super aggressive gearing and were lighter, but handling was horrible haha i'm actually going to supercharge this IS from rr racing, basically a lexus little performance division out in PA near me, the car makes i think ab 460-470 whp and does 0-60 same times as M3's and 4's, i'll nev badge as an F though haha

Gave him a little rev and a few burbles and then he put his turn signal on to pull into a gas station. Didn't want to race, weird considering he's asking the world to race...
