The execution is different, but the output is the same. This difference allows many advantages.

I have received the obd dongle, purchased the Full flash app through Apple store with receipt, but the app is still locked once I connect to the dongle and get the car connected confirmation message

My car details are present in the vehicle screen

Please advise if I'm doing something wrong here

If I buy this now and the EDC coding capability is added later, would I have to pay anything extra or would I be able to have that functionality as well? I’m ready to order this as long as the dynamic package would eventually include EDC coding if that ever becomes possible.

Just coded both packages, dct and dynamic, on my comp pack

Went with the cs (road and track) codings for all - trans, steering, diff, mdm

Trans flash took about 8 mins, the 3 dynamic modules around 15 mins

Straight off bat I could tell how much smoother trans is, no more jerkiness coasting to a stop when the car downshifts 3-2 or 2-1 at idle rpm, even upshifts feel smoother

Steering in sport actually feels proper now, I refused to use it because the weighting felt noticeably artificial right off centre, but it's sorted

Mdm, finally I have some slip and the power doesn't cut out at slightest hint of throttle, can actually go deep into throttle with steering lock on and the rear will step out a little and without the power being abruptly cut

All up, well worth the cost

Sure you can remote code with a laptop etc, but I just prefer doing this stuff myself in my own time and plus I can mix and match the diff codings without having to setup repeat remote sessions

I don't think so, it flashed them all under dynamic

Tbh I don't think you want to mix and match these modules, they'll work best together

Standing still is a step backwards: we look to the future! At the moment, we are working on following additions:

- roll out our Android Version

Still....I do wish we could individually select which modules to flash instead of forcing us to flash all three at once.
The way App is currently setup is all three modules (EPS DSC LSD) or nothing 🤨

+1 to this. This isn’t just for a personal preference, but for technical reasons too. I have a base model M3, which has different dampers than the comp pack-up. I want a product with individual setting control so just in case I don’t like how the CS EDC works on my dampers, which it wasn’t designed for, that I can still change the other settings and didn’t waste my money on a product with compromises that I might end up not using. Since EDC support is coming in the future, this is a must have feature in my opinion, unless you want to alienate all base M3 customers, which wouldnt be a smart business decision.

I’m really excited for this product, but I really think individual setting control should be at the top of your features list. Being a software developer myself, I can’t imagine it being that difficult to implement. You already did the hard part by implementing everything altogether. Refactoring code and adding some UI elements for each setting should be easy.

The Thor App and the process is Great and works flawlessly every time. Amazing App.

It's Just some people don't want to flash all 3 modules.
Some just want to flash improved DSC mode. Some just want to flash improved power steering.
And some just want to flash improved LSD.
Right now, the options are all or nothing.
