What is your opinion?

Guys,

A dealer in Houston, TX made an lease offer to me:
36/10k miles
Mineral White Metallic, full leather, comp. pack, M-performance pack, etc.

MSRP $93,660
Dealer Discount $11,239.20
Rebate and incentives $7,500 (lease incentive + loyalty)

I am living in Michigan, so my calculated monthly payment with numbers above and 57% RV + 0.00145 MF is
$811/mo pre-tax
$860/mo tax incl.
This includes $925 acq. fee, and not including any dealer/gov. fees that are due at signing.

But this dealer is quoting me $935/mo.

Any comment on dealer's discount? I am a bit worried because they accepted my 12% off MSRP request quite easily, which made me think if I missed something here...

Are the incentives lower in Houston. $75 payment delta would suggest $2500 incentive delta. SoCal appears to be $5k, but you mention $7.5k...maybe in Houston it's only $5k. Incentives are usually where dealer is, not where buyer is.

Well, the BMW lease rebate is $5,000, and loyalty incentive is $2,500. In total they are $7,500, and this is reflected on that dealer's offer paper. So I am not thinking they are playing number games on rebate section.

TX Region is $5K incentive. Southeast Region for example is $5,500

Yes, I know that. I also reached out to another dealership in IN that has $6,750 lease incentive (not including any loyalty). But their do not budge on dealer discount so not much use there.

Sorry, it was my mistake. With all the MSRP, selling price, RV, MF and rebate I am calculating $933/month with zero drive-off. And dealer is quoting $935/month. It seems not much difference out there.

Any comment on dealer's discount?

With the numbers you are putting you should be at $850 per month pre tax or $901 with 6% tax $0 due at sign 35 payments. Idk your dealer fees and title & registration cost so add them as well.

You are correct. How do you think about the dealer discount? I was quite surprised they just discounted 12% without much hassle.

The discount is good but I would prefer driving a CS for the same payment and shorter 24 months term.

BMW is not offering a $6,750 lease incentive in any Region.... Not sure where that dealer is getting that number

$5,750 lease credit + $1,000 summer sales event, at least what was shown on their paper.

But I do not see it when I typed that dealer's zipcode on BMWUSA.com. Then I don't know why other regions do not have that.

That's an OL Code. It's generated from attending BMW Ultimate Driving Events and Dealership Events such a Summer Sales Event etc. You won't see them on bmwusa.com Your region might have them also.

I'm getting 7.5% off MSRP for a brand new 2020 M4 plus whatever rebates they have (leasing, loyalty, etc). Is this a decent percentage off since the 2020's are still pretty new?

Will post leasing and financing figures once I receive them.

I would see what they are doing for the M4CS in your area. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I received the July numbers (they are posted in the OP of the thread) so sadly I didn't get the August ones. My car will probably be here in September/October so if the numbers are better in those months, my CA will give me those instead.

BMW has stated that all M4s will come with CP standard pretty soon so I wanted to order ASAP because I wanted an M4 without CP (shocking I know!).

I was pleasantly surprised! That being said, I still went with the standard M4 and got a way better deal (13% off MSRP) as I just couldn't pass up 6MT!
