They go over it. We are contemplating offering a complete replacement but price will be closer $250 - $300 on good quality ones. Not sure there is enough demand for it

Stay away from the Dinan carbon mirror caps. They may be a cheaper alternative but the fit is not good. If it gets cold out they pop out of place. Very sad as Dinan is a very reputable business.

Go to a stek dealer and wrap the mirrors in the carbon fiber ppf wrap instead 😊

Those appear to be thick, and thus appear to be 1/8" taller than the rest of the mirror. I had some really paper thin ones on my E9X and even those irked me by not sitting flush.
Bottom line is if you want to save a ton of money and can deal with it, the stick on deals are the way to go.

Very thin, looked well made, came with mirror cover cleaner and adhesive wipe, plus 3m tape. AFter test fitment, I put the 3m tape on mirror and carefully lined them up. They fit perfectly and I am so far quite pleased.

We do not. We considered it at one point but its not cheap and i dont think the demand is high enough for it
