Out of curiosity what was your review about the Z06? C6 or C7?

I've never owned one but have an appreciation for them. It is definitely on the list of a next platform I would like to build.

I'm assuming with your new SUV it was possibly for comfort and more room for family?

Thanks

I had a C7. First mistake was the A8 trans...dont go that route because the transmission in my pickup is better than that POS. I honestly didnt like the way it drove. It hunted all over the road because the front tires are about a foot wide. The ackerman effect at full lock is super annoying because it can be fixed with engineering but they need to hit that price point for the bean counters so they just tell people its normal. The fact that you have to buy disablers to rev the motor past 4k drives me nuts, when you put it track mode it will still activate 4cyl mode which is just odd to me. So you need the disabler for that too.

I know my opinion will not be the same as many but I just couldnt wrap my head around driving it regularly.

I did the SUV because I wanted to try something different mainly. I actually don't need the room but I didnt want another F82 and didnt want to wait for the new M3. The leases on these right now are pretty good so it helped save a bunch of cash monthly.

I'm dying to see this on spacers and dropped! Which springs are you going with and how much of a drop is it? Also, I'm sure you've seen the #'s the boys over at Bootmod3 are getting out of these, lets just say the Z06 won't be missed if and when you tune it...

Congrats man.

Curious as to what kind of deal did you got? I know X3Ms are sitting and there are deals to be had there if one wanted a fast heavy SUV.

I am going with the H&R sport springs. Should drop about an 1" in back and 1.2" in front.

I have definitely seen the numbers and wow they are impressive! I never sold my BM3 tune from my M4 so hoping I can do a VIN transfer to this after break in.

12% off sticker plus rebate money of $5750. 36/12 lease, only first payment out of pocket, 838/mo. They gave me a big number on my Vette as well which was huge as I was barely getting any hits on it at almost the same number they gave me.

X5 or X3? What was the sticker on it?

Either way seems like a good deal with tax we have to pay on leases in MD.

X3...X5M you need to add another $1000 to my payment lol. Sticker was just over $84k. Yeah, sadly we get screwed hard on lease tax.

Regarding your BM3 tune - do they even have one for the new S58 engine yet? This engine hasn't been out very long.

Good choice! Perfect size car to still have fun and have additional utility when needed.
