Random question but is it normal for condensation to leak through the various joints of the midpipe? Noticed it a few times on start up under the car

Since it’s essentially the same design as the AA midpipe I’d assume it should have no problem fitting with an AA rear section/muffler, correct?

I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on an AA midpipe for a while because of price as many others have said. So I’d love to pick one of these up if it’ll fit my AA rear section.

Since the pipes are welded together, there will be a small seem for condensation to escape. As long as you don't have excessive loudness, I wouldn't worry about it being exhaust leak.

Any updates on the brace availability to customers who bought the midpipe from you? I've stacked multiple washers to get clearance but still get some resonance at times from what i believe to be the washers since clearance is fine.

If you use the correct number washers under each component to fill the gaps then torque it correctly nothing will vibrate.

But a cross brace will be nice if it is affordable.... maybe with the logo laser cut in it

Thanks for the info and pic. There is only an intermittent resonance when taking off or initially reversing. Here is what I did, I even bought bolts that were 10mm longer for good measure.

I see....
I put the braces that go forward against the fuel cell back it their factory location that is why I put the different stacks of washers where I did. I didn't want them to press too hard or not enough against the cell. That would be my OCD at work

I had a similar setup with washers but preferred something more solid. Tiago from VRSF said they're working on one but I got tired of waiting, found a nice extended brace for about $100 on eBay.

They're in production now. We'll have them ready in about 3 weeks.

So if we order the mid pipe (lets say in a month) will we get the brace included so it fits or is that something we have to purchase separately?

Sure hope it is included. Would be wrong if you have to pay extra especially since it is a shame to have to use that many washers. Not to mention it looks like crap!

Well I take offense to that.....I think my set up looks pretty damn good and I even used the factory bolts

JK...hell it is under the car and even when you look underneath it is hard to see it

Hovig24,
I learned from installing my full AA Signature that a lot of resonance hits a single mid right after the downpipes merge 2-into-1. Try adjusting the single midpipe's rear mount so the tail end sits lower. That way vibrations don't carry over into the underside aluminum heat shielding. If your washered bolts are tight it's probably not those.

The brace will be available free of charge to the original buyer of the product regardless of when it was purchased

That makes sense, will try it out. Thanks!

Appreciate the update! Should original buyers contact you for the brace or will you be shipping it out to them once they're available?

What needs to be done to get the brace? If we bought it from one of your dealers instead of directly from you?

My lower dp bolts were rusted and had to be grinded off and the studs drilled out- what a night mare. If I had an aftermarket dp probably would of been a different story. Upper bolts were fine.

Overall the rasp is gone and in high rpms the car screams in sport/ sport plus. When casually driving around town you can barley tell any difference from stock. The car sounds great and for the price I do recommend the single downpipe. Just wish the clearance issue with the cross brace was figured out. I'll upload vids/ pics soon

Did the ZCP pops become louder and more crisp with his? If this alone can achieve the nice crisp louder pops then i am all in. Not looking to do down pipes.

If they are including it with older orders, I'm sure new orders will get it as well
