OLED Tail Lights for F80 M3

I have found another seller on Alibaba selling v2 for 350 shipped. Save yourself 300+ dollars and buy direct. It's the same exact Chinese fake lights resellers like mashimaro and bayoptiks are buying in bulk for dirt cheap prices and inflating the prices. To each his own, business is business but I'd rather get it from the source and not pay someone double the price for the same China product lol

Yes they do. They are switch back leds that alternate from white for reverse and red for rear fogs on the v2 model. Don't forget you need to modify your headlight switch housing (or buy euro light switch) for the lower fog light button to work and code your car to activate the button. There is a thread on here that has a DIY

Just installed these today and I have pre-LCI but I can say for certain it's darker than OEM.

Added a little touch to mine, Goldenwrench supply sells a reverse light tint for the oem lci tail lights but they fit these tail lights also. I'm not a fan of tinted tail lights at all but with these having a darker red, tinting the reverse light made sense.

Can someone who knows coding post the steps with BimmerCode on how to have your tail lights on all the time as a day time running light

I wish I could compare the level of detail between V1 and 2 in person as having V2s in the cart for the last few days I really can't get over that startup sequence, V1 is just right IMHO. V2's inner brake light integration looks better but I don't know if V1s look bad in that aspect.

V2 all day. I can live with the sequence it's actually not bad at all. Quality and fitment on my v2 was 10/10

I was debating between V1 and V2 for few days too before I decided to order the V2.
The V1 has a cleaner start up for sure, but the V2 is not that bad. I really do like the look of the V2 much more.

The difference between the V1s and V2s is that the V2s has the line running across the LED like the CS M4 and also the lighting sequence is different. The V1 has a better lighting sequence in my opinion.

Has anyone wash or drive their cars in the rain yet? Trying to see if any issues to report in terms of moisture or condensation in the lens when ? I'm very OCD when it comes to that

Let us know how the quality holds up. If there is any cracks or moisture in the plastic overtime.

These will look good if you code your tailights to stay on via bimmercode. It's called DRL rears. Code them on.

Yes it's called DRL Rear inner and outer. Turn the inner and outer on in bimmercode

I did. It sits flushed with LCI drip rails, though difference is pretty minor. $70 for piece of mind.

One thing I did notice after install was rattling of the loose wires when i close the trunk. Should've taped those to the trunk roof.

Funny thing i just noticed that too when driving with the rear seats down. Nothing that zip ties can't fix
