Anyone know why the f30/f32/f80/f82 ones we've seen don't light up one leaf at a time like these ones on a g80, which are also aftermarket? Would be nice to have that variation as it looks more the like GTS ones.

edit: skip to 19:50, and i'm talking about the lighting pattern after it comes back down.

I believe the G series ones are individual LED panels.. the F3X versions from what I have seen so far works like this.. the "individual leafs" are all stuck together with the centers translucent, then behind them is one huge LED diffuser with an array of SMD LED's lighting up one at a time. The issue with doing it this way is you cannot get 100% individual control.. you end up with light bleed into the next "leaf"

Edit: Yep the G80 ones are pretty much exactly the same as OEM, individual panels which may even be real oled considering LED technology tends to struggle getting this thin

Those G80 lights have a lot going on with the turn signal at the very end of that video. Not sure it looks good with a redundant blinker.

I only have 8 more sets in stock for the F80/F30 OLED lights. The next batch won't be here for another 2 months. I'm going to be focusing on the F32/F82 lights for now. So PM if you're interested.

I am also Pre-Lci, so we can just remove those resistors and code the lights in right?

I have fitted mine already however those ugly resistors and extra wiring really bugged me, I may take them out and code the lights in when i have a chance.

Overall a great experience working with Abdul! Would highly recommend working with him again!

Correct. The resistors that are screwed to the lights I left on just unplugged the wires. The other four resistors I unplugged and removed.

No problems after coding and they work as advertised.

That's the benefit of buying from a local vendor. No dreaded wait time, my friend.

Abdul, just checking in to see if you are getting the first F83 shipment in soon. Have an early order with you so hoping to see if the first batch will be going out soon - would be great to have it for next week

The first batch has not arrived. I'm looking at ups tracking daily. It's making its way here. I'll keep you posted.

Not sure who your contact is but I ordered mine from JIA-YI Car light shop on Ali and it's driving me nuts with the tracking.. he finally marked it as shipped after 16 days, then provided tracking 4 days after marking it as shipped. Long story short I think he was buying time, my problem now though is the package has gone from China > Netherlands > Belgium and will finally be inbound for the UK.

I don't have high expectations for getting them anytime in the next 2-4 weeks though, Leige Belgium is renowned for having month long backlogs

Anyone with the vland f82 tails gotten the inner trunk brake lights to work? I tried it without and with the connection to the fender tail light and no luck.

Might just be the inner section doesn't light up with brakes on the f82/f83 version of the fauxleds.

From the videos and pics I've seen so far, I don't think the F82 has the inner brake trunk light. Even on the OEM OLED it doesn't. I'm 99% sure I'm right about this, but the instructions pic you posted, has me second guessing myself.

I think you're right looked around and found some video of the actual production OEM lights.

Also attached are pictures of the BMW released video about the lights which are presumably preproduction, adds a bit of confusion to the mix.

I'm having fitment issues with getting Passenger Trunk one to fit in properly. Additionally the tighter screw thats with the screw to make it secure is completely stripped. I cannot get the screw back into the hole and for that piece to help secure the lights. Even when I tried my best to get it to fit flush to the trunk panel, there would be a gap (towards the license plate) and unable to get it tighten down.

Anyone ran into this issue during install? I currently have my OEM back into the Passenger trunk side and rest GTS so looks janky as hell.
