Thanks! I like it. I saw a review for it on YouTube then found it here: https://www.mlperformance.co.uk/prod...petition-m4-cs

How often do you run a charge session? If I'm not driving for a few weeks at a time I'll run a charge.

Given the fluctuations in temps here, I try to plug it in if I know I won't drive it for a week or more.. batteries get decimated much quicker in phoenix than they used to in pdx.. just trying to stretch the li-on as long as possible.

Tested out a shortcut through the infield grass trying to cut out a few turns, did not go as planned.

Mud and Grass > oil cooler and stock skid plate.

Did not completely destroy the oil cooler (still held all oil), but bent it enough that I felt it needed replaced after straightening. Bought a new Mishimoto oil cooler and Turner skid plate for my next off road excursion. Weekend plans are now set...

For anyone interested:

Stock oil cooler ~ $470
Mishimoto oil cooler ~ $535
Stock oil skid ~ $147
Turner aluminum skid ~ $375
Other bits and pieces broken in the process ~ $130
Additional 1.5 psi of air in the right rear tire - Free
I'll need to replace the front splitter at some point...

Is what it is

Made a quick run to the muffler shop to have my ZCP midpipe cut from the muffler. I had been alternating between a 1) AA mid pipe paired with a non-ZCP muffler, 2) stock midpipe with Xpipe at resonator, and 3) the regular OEM ZCP exhaust.

I was going back and forth on whether to sell the car but decided I'll keep it for the long haul so now I'm free to play a bit more. I saw a good deal on the M.A.D. midpipe and figured I'd see what it was like when paired with the ZCP muffler. I'll bolt it up myself tomorrow and see how it sounds.

Some things I learned today:

1) the OEM midpipe fits in the car with the trunk closed (that was cool)
2) the ENTIRE car vibrates when revving with the exhaust system open from the cats back (not so cool and sounds horrible)
3) the MAD midpipe seems like quality piece and a quick test fit gives me the impression that fitment won't be an issue (TBD)

I've had the MAD midpipe installed for a couple thousand miles now. Thing is great. Zero fitment issues, sounds cool, and the price is right. You expect with a multi-piece exhaust to get a rattle or clunk or something as all the clamps settle in but I've had none of that.

I'm installing it as I send this. Things going well and I'm not expecting any issues from the look of it

Finished installing the MAD single midpipe today. I'm happy with it. It's has slightly more bass than the AA midpipe. And has less rasp than a Xpipe by itself. The turbo spool is way more pronounced now.

Fitment was spot on. No rattles or leaks. I'll stick with it for the long haul.

Made a super quick video:

Use headphones to get representative audio of how it sounds in person.

Interesting that the MAD midpipe provides more bass in your opinion, with the assumption it's a copy of the AA midpipe!

Looks like you're at Yang's Muffler as well. Oakland staple 😂
