Spoofed up the interior a bit today. Had to try out these magnetic paddles everyone is raving about hah. They’re fun! Shifts are instant and the sound is really kind of neat, it’s the little things I guess. Took the opportunity to pair the new paddles with the matte carbon steering wheel trim from the M2. The CS has no glossy carbon on the inside so I figured the matte would work better and I think it came out nice. Just had to add the iND blue buttons to round it out. Love this car!

NickyC Are they worth the coin? I have the G8X style shifter now and they're perfectly angled to easily grab a gear quickly without flex.

Depends on you - I have and love them for track use. Since I only drive with paddles, as a pure daily I would probably run stock or find a way to reduce the pull weight and sound a touch (can be done with different magnet strength and thin foam padding). But yah, on track they are absolutely clutch… pun intended

I had my allocation pretty quickly; within a few months. I sold my F82 in March/April-ish and I had an allocation by mid/late May. I kept making changes and tried to hold out for the full AeroKit, thus, extending the delivery time significantly (…for whatever reason the few CXX items I optioned caused a significant delay at the time). I felt like my SA wanted to murder me.

As for value, considering they come with their own modules AND two sets of paddles, I think it's an amazing value. Just price what stock paddles/modules go for new and these things are an absolute bargain. They really do like nice as well, nice matte finish and not gaudy. Thanks! |

Thanks! It didn’t delay it at all yet either. I added the Porsche dash cam prep too. I won’t get Porsche’s dash cam but my stereo installer said it’ll still help with an aftermarket camera set up or to hard wire for a radar detector.
TYD says 63 days until it’s at my dealer. I’m sure there will be delays and then trying to schedule the PEC Atlanta will most likely move it out a bit too. Guessing May/June which will be fine, be a nice time to take the back roads through the Smokies home. Will be a great break in drive home! |

There are very few cars out there that genuinely deserve the markup and sadly the Porsche RS cars always had markups (well most did), unless you waited for.... 3-4+ years (which no one generally would). Those dummies who tried to flip the GR Corolla and Civic Type R deserved it.

I’ve always gotten cheap American car vibes from the g8x. Always a dodge for me….maybe it’s the hood abominations.
