Oil Change
Can you change the oil on a 2018 M4 with just the front raised enough to get a drain pan under and put take out the drain plug.
I am wondering if the angle would throw off the oil measurement although I guess if you put the 6.5 litres in it should be fine no matter the angle of the oil pan. |

The low side of the pan is where the drain plug is, so angle doesn’t matter much. After I drive my front wheels up my homemade 2X8 ramps and chock a wheel (in front and behind) I jack the center and then put a crib of 4 stacked 2x8s under each front tire. That gives perfect room to safely squeeze under without needing jackstands.
Trick is to let it drain a long time (like 10-15min) until you get single drips. That’s gets almost all out.
