Do88 Performance oil cooler install
Hi all,
In this video I made, I install the engine oil cooler from Do88 Performance. I really like the fitment and quality of the cooler, and according to them, the core volume is 63% larger than the stock one. Pretty neat stuff. Hope you guys like it! |

Congrats - do88 make phenomenal parts for the e9x M and f8x. I have their e9x M DCT cooler with a Slon thick DCT oil pan. I’ve not had a single issue with slow or skipped shifts when it gets hot on track. With the GTS overfill plug (0.5-1.0 L), the larger DCT cooler (requires 0.65 L to fill) and the thicker Slon DCT pan with the extended pickup (1.0 L extra), the increase over stock is 2.1 to 2.65 ml.
You’ll love the performance of your do88 oil cooler. |

I replaced a few rads with do88 units and they are great quality. If you ever move to an aluminum skid plate the fall line one fits great but the turner needs to be hacked up to fit.

Hey, I just ordered one of these, and I've got the Turner plate -- trying to figure out what I might need ahead of time to make this work, can you elaborate on the nature of the required hacking? Thx!

for the turner I trimmed down the rear lip. Might need to do some on the sides too. You just have to fit it up and start grinding/cutting away. |
