Spun crank hub! Looking reputable shops in the Toronto area
Sooooo my S55 spun it's crank hub. Dealer won't warranty it because of a tune, and wants at least $2200 just to look at it as it requires disassembly of the engine. And that's not even including the cost of the fix. Since it'll cost that much I may as well get a proper aftermarket crank hub fix. Any shop around the Hamilton or Toronto area that has good experience with the S55 crank hub fix? A quick search pulls up RMP Motors in Etobicoke as the place to go but the fastest they can get my car in is mid May. Any other shops I should look into? The car is still drivable but with far less power so hopefully no other damage has been done.

RMP or Eurocharged.
If car drives then you’re lucky. You need to get it re-timed etc..not as bad a full build. Just don’t drive it. Have it towed to one of those two spots get it checked out and re-timed. Then do the full crankhub fix. |

RMP is the best, they do crank hub jobs almost every day.
Any other info on when yours spun? Mods/tune/driving habits/etc?
