My ordered car is currently status 112. Am I supposed to be able to see and confirm the specs of the car on the mybmw website (so I can confirm everything is correct)?

Not at 112. It probably won't change until your car goes into production. At this point the best thing to do is to ask your CA for a copy of the Vehicle Inquiry Report. They can print it out or email it to you.

Yep that's exactly what I got from my CA, just making sure there wasn't additional verification I was missing and might regret later. Thanks!

Are other dealers able to check status on a production order #? I ask because my CA is not really in tune with this type of stuff and is a pain to get answers from. BMW Genius helps but they won't provide the actual status number (IE: 112, 150 etc)

Its your dealer only I believe. But while BMW Genius doesn't give you status numbers, they are able to read you the description, i.e., "Order accepted by AG" and then just come back to this thread on the first post and cross reference the terms and you will get your status number.

Anyone know why my car would be stuck at 155 for over two weeks? This is driving me insane.

If you're really compulsive I used FleetMon to allow me to track my ship by satellite when it was out of range of the port radars. You have to buy "credits" and it looks like there is an initial "authorization" step that has to be completed before you can actually use it. If I recall, this had to be done on a weekday (when they're open). I may still have 1 credit left; may buy more or just check once; this issue is till a ways off for me.
Also, I seem to remember seeing that a bunch of cars on the same ship all cleared customs at the exact same time. I think I was told that they clear customs "electronically" before the ship even arrives. Not like someone is inspecting each car like when you return home and go through customs. Guess the cars have "Global Entry". Here's Titania in the middle of the pond via satellite; note it's delayed by several hours. ?security issue?

Well...finally got a confirmed production week of 30 and a tentative PCD date of 9/21. What a roller coaster ride of being told by BMW Genius it was pushed back every week but at least it's "confirmed" now.

Ouch. I called the automated hotline since I just missed the BMW genius closing time and it said my vehicle is in production with an estimated completion of 8/3. Better than what I was expecting to hear!

My estimated completion date was 6/13... not sure what happened, but the entire month of June went by with my car stuck on status 155. After I got word that it got on a boat, my CA told me the actual production date listed was 7/3.

Sooo... The ship my car was on left the dock where the BMWs are unloaded. That means my car is now sitting there waiting to be cleared and sent to my dealership. At least my car and I are in the same state. This will be a loooong weekend.

Ask them or your CA they can let you know. Could be part that was on back order or a shift in the production cycle. Or if you ordered an individual color like tanzanite that could push it back three week. Basically there could be 100 reasons, your CA should be able to tell you why. Also, remember that all production week can dates are estimates and not set in stone.

wow, I hope mine has a long production run as this. lol I have week 40 production coming up. I think I'll be the only one on this forum's history to actually want the delivery of their car delayed as long as possible.

What's the average production to delivery time? I wonder if I can keep "re-building" my deal to ensure that I hit that 60 day lock-in period. Dealer assures me that I'll make it, but you never know during the holiday season.

On Bimmerfest there is a spreadsheet on the ED page (although yours may not be ED) that has people's averages. On the quick end it can take ~4 weeks on the long end upwards of 6 months for individual colors
