I cant use my newly purchased bootmod3

Update: left it on activating and 30 mins later, car activated !! Loading up stage 1 93 as we speak

I noticed GTS transmission from BM3 has been on version 2.0. Anyone knows the difference? Thanks.

Is $125 a good price to have bootmod3 installed? I was quoted the above from kevin@eas seems a bit high. To get gts steering and diff was a extra $95 each... so 315 for everything not including bm3 cost.
Also if I get CA smogged while on stage 1 91, will I fail? Or should flashing back to stock tune be sufficient to pass?

Installed?

Like... plug it in to a laptop?

You could build the Raspberry Pi solution yourself for half that and then it’s doable by your phone whenever you like. It’s not tricky

Hey,

No!

"BM3" is a Tuning platform.

* GTS Steering
* GTS Diff.

Are all activated by Coding.

GTS-DCT is not coding. It's a Flash/rewrite of the software code

You could get a slew of things customized through coding including all the above for (+-) $100.00

Installing "BM3"is DIY.

Cheers!

What does major problems mean? Sounds like you had issues at one point or several times.

I went through some threads as well as the
Ecu stats and codes one. Couldn’t really find
A definitive answer, is it true that flashing stock
Map back with bm3 restores the flash counter
With no trace?

I'm an early adopter of BM3. At the beginning, early versions of tunes had some problems like rough idle, throttle and burble hesitations etc. which were solved within the days of contacting their support. That's what I meant by not having major problems.

GTS DCT needs to be flashed and not coded. Its included for free when you buy the BM3 tune.

It would be very interesting to have a changelog in Bm3

Update versions But we don't know where changes affect

They started that a few weeks back and added descriptions into maps too.

I just flashed OTS stage 1 91 and I didn't change any settings, sorry if this has been asked, but what are the default for exhaust burble?
Does everything preset to OEM by default on the OTS stage 1 map on straight download?

I've gotten drivetrain malfunction twice in the last week for the following code:

1F0525 DME, internal error, safety function: plausibility relative fuel mass

Anyone have any idea on this - both times car has gone into limp mode, then restarted perfectly fine.

Fuel pump related? E85 or pump?

Never seen that. What map? Might be your fuel pump.

Did you flash back to stock before sell?
