Why defend it so much as like you were on the design team or something?

LOL, of course you're not defending the Alfa.

You just don't get it do you? I, along with the littany of other M3 to Quadrafoglio buyers, would have never voluntarily made a very expensive leap to an undiscounted car unless the car was truly better in some very meaningful ways.

I certainly don't need to defend the car when every single reviewer has said they like it better overall too. I'm the first to admit it's not perfect, but will also advise you that it is much better than the comments that have made about it by some folks on this forum who've never even seen one in person, let alone driven one. To pan something they nothing about is literally the definition of prejudice.

Another delusion here.

While the Giulia-Q has received a very warm welcome by the press, it was not unanimously picked as the better car, some the M3/4 did get some wins.

Actually, you're correct. BMW Blog, BimmerPost, Auto Bild (German!), chose the BMW as their favorite. As we all know, they'd be really objective.

Guess we'll just have to see the head to head review on the season premiere of Top Gear. It's was aired in the U.K. last week, but airs on BBC America this week. Will be yet another interesting data point to consider, however it goes down.

What are you going to do if the Alfa receives even more effusive praise, discredit yet another review?

BTW...a picture is worth a thousand words!

Giuia QV Video from Motor One

A good video focusing on the practical side of the Giulia QV. The car is gorgeous in black!

Practical sides . . . like driving, or should I say slip sliding, in the rain and having to replace the tires every 4 or 5 months.

And why would I discredit it ? Another positive review simply means another point for the Giulia-Q. And, as I said many times before, the Giulia-Q is getting a lot of good press. I am not trying to bash or diminish it.

By your logic, any review that does not pick the Giulia-Q as the better car should be discounted for whatever reason, hence your statements that Giulia-Q has been picked as the better car by "every single review" and "unanimously" praised as the better car .

The point my posts is simply to bring some objective facts to a delusional perspective.

Oh yes I do, it's a lot of work that you have put in. But to be fair, both of those two also put in their share.

That ain't work. That's just fun and entertainment (for me at least)

I guess you can call it mutual trolling .

Giulia QV review by CAR South Africa

Close call, but they prefer the Giulia QV over the M3 CP... Enjoy the read!

What's the actual mass of the Alfa? Not the quoted 'dry' weight.

Would love to see a shootout of the M3 ZCP and QV with measured weights, 1/4 mile and track times.

4.61s to 100 km/h for the M3 ZCP. Must be the cold South African asphalt.
