M3/M4 key fob

I was surprised when the dealer put the keys on the table when they delivered my car. I thought wow, not even an ///M sign? That sucks. Oh well the car is still awesome!

True, unless you use a secondary smaller ring it will never fit flush in your pocket. Old pic, but that's what ended up doing to keep comfortable inside my pocket.

Do away with the keys already. As a former 7er owner and a potential future owner, I don't want to lug around that heavy new key and risk dropping it or getting it scratched by other keys in my pocket. Why can't you guys develop a keyless system utilising NFC on our phones instead and have all the remote features on an app like on ConnectedDrive?

I did the vinyl stripes across the top and with the M-Performance case, I have mine the way I like it.

Why not have a credit card shaped key or something vaguely innovative that doesn't constantly feel awkward wherever you carry it!

I find the F8x keyfob BIG and aesthetically unpleasing to the eye (f_gl_). Since I have comfort access I don't see it much, but every time it's in sight, it's an eyesore. It's a contradiction that such a beautifully designed car sports such a weird looking keyfob. And it all matters, it's part of the brand. Now why doesn't Apple design some keys for us ! Or even better put that BIG key in my iPhone

so I don't have to carry it anymore...

Just take a look on the key of the new 2series Active tourer - with M package:

It was really funny - last time I drove the Active Tourer when my M4 was at the dealer for service - I was really wondering why I didn't go such an ///M key for my M4...

The M4 key does not really bother me - but I am really asking myself why BMW can make something special on a Active Tourer with M Package and not for an M4

The only thing that bothers me is the size of the key, it's very big.

I loved the key fob for my old 370Z, great size and shape. Felt half the size in your pocket compared to the M4s:

I found an ///M sticker that goes on the back of the fob. Looks like it should have been there from the factory.

I purchased 3D stickers for my wheels on my last car and they have been on there for a few years. Even if it doesn't it's only $8.
