Is this still a ZCP or now a 7MK?

If it's not a ZCP I can forgive that there is no IB paint LOL.

Don't care for the HP/Tq; how about improving handling characteristics and dynamics so it can put its power down more effectively?

So 15 hp increase over base m3 while Mercedes gave 32HP increase for c63s over base c63?

Does BMW want to lose the benchmark or what?

all in all, package would be worth it at $3500 at most.
FYI the seat openings are not functional for a harness .....

Hm,

I don't know what to think about it. I'm sure it'll be around 6.000€ (Europe) 6-7K$ USA.

10hp and a bit more noise is absolutely ridiculous. I spent 2.000€ on Akra DP + JB4...... And with the MPE the car is mind blowing. Really... The sound is crazy and it is FAST

So I'm not so sure about the competition pack

Here is my reply to all of this;

• Performance Package results in 324 kW (approximately 435 HP) (15hp so like 9 whp?, not sure if this is a joke?)
• Adaptation of option code 2VF 'Adaptive M Sport suspension', without lowering (I guess no one knows what this really means)
• Adaptation of DSC / Active M Differential (very good)
• Sports exhaust system with tailpipes in black high-gloss (cool)
• M seats with cut-out, for driver and front passenger (useless)
• Seat belts, design stripes in M colours (useless)
• 20" M light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 666 M, forged, with mixed tires (beyond ugly)
• Adaptive M suspension (see above)

The below i have no idea how it has anything to even do a w a comp pack-

• HiFi loudspeaker system (optional: Harman Kardon surround sound system)
• BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line
• BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line with extended contents
• Upholstery: cloth/leather combination Carbon structure, colour: anthracite (alternatively/optional: Leather Merino or full leather Merino)

I would say overall, a massive dissapointment... another 30 hp would have sealed the deal at 460 or 465 but this is a joke.

Those wheels are terrible. Just don't suit the car at all. Looks worse than the GTS, which is saying something.

Besides the one from BMW, I have not yet seen a single bench dyno test result of an S55 according to either the ESE or SAE standard.

Based on the info published in the OP, all I can assume is that the CP will make ~2% more power than a base M3/4.

I would not.

Same as post above, I can only assume the GTS makes ~16% more power than a base M3/4 .

Sounds great!

I'll take it!

I wish BMW would have came with a lighter wheel with upgraded Competition Package features similar to the M5/M6 like upgraded steering rack, bushings, etc

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Where to begin, hmm.
Seat cut outs, well now you can pass gas to the rear passengers faster than ever. While the sound might pass for Active Sound, pun intended, the odor will be unmistakable.
Wheels and their visual and descriptive 666 reference is flat spooky and had already been discussed in other threads.
The slight power bump, unacceptable.
Does "sport" exhaust equal performance exhaust? Probably not.
Slight power bump, meh.

No Bueno, BMW, no Bueno...

No improvement of the electronic steering? Steering is more important than MDM.

I like this wheel design. But 20" wheels? The 19" wheels are already too big for bumpy roads in the city.

Many haven't read all the posts. The package will include 10 mm lowering just like the e92 package.
The package may very well post only a 10 hp gain, but that could be understated. The wheels are certainly better than offered on the e92 package, which were cast and the same size. And it didn't have seats either. I guess the package will be better, but it will remain to be seen how much better.

E9x ZCP was more functional and priced right. Great wheels including increased width, lowered 10mm, and much improved adaptive suspension. I'm gonna guess this F8x pack is at least 2-3 times the cost of E9x ZCP and I bet that exhaust is just the normal stock one but in black.

Don't like the wheels. Wish it included a moderate factory lowering. Might still make the change in the fall but lowered would seal the deal for me.
