What's up with the rims?
Looks like carbon wheels.
Was that an option? I've only seen orange Satan's on the GTS

It's the optional GTS Carbon Fiber wheels. Supposedly adds about $15k to the price.

That's a pretty sweet deal for a frozen with the 681M wheels. I would seriously consider it.
Is it brand new?

Saw this on facebook. Brand new never registered. The price on there is $105K includes the CF wheels. I know the wheels are ugly but still amazing price.

Yep. It's brand new. Well, I'm the sense that no one has bought it.

Wow. $106! Even better! Looks like they're trying to unload this before the CS's hit the floor.

I think those wheels look great in person even if not so much in that particular photo.

I also like the look of the 681M, I find they look very purposeful.

If I could get a GTS that cheap in Canada, I would buy one, install the CS rear seat, trunk and front lip and have my perfect M4 .

Import it. Doesn't the warranty transfer right over? You should be able to get this with a $30K savings over a Canadian car.

I don't love the look of those wheels, but I would not buy them for that reason. I'd buy them because they are extremely light weight and will improve unsprung weight and mass, and improve handling feel. This is a smoking good deal!!

Doubt it is new. Cheapest “real” new one is at $118,000. There is one listed at new on Cars.com for $109,000 but it is not really new. Over 150 miles and four carfax entries.
A lot of those cars were traded between dealers and are not really new. Better check carfax before you buy.
Only 19 real new ones on cars.com... and most at MSRP or more.
Buyer beware...

I frequent this dealership a lot. When they received the car, they offered to show it to me before they took off all the shipping protection film. I took the above photo with my iPhone when they first put it on the showroom floor in November 2016. It's been on that same floor for the past year and change starting at the ridiculous $250k mark up; gradually coming down.

I've been to the dealer multiple times since. It's always been on the showroom floor.

Last time I went in the dealer, I was looking at an X5 less than a month ago. They offered to sell me the GTS at $110k.

They obviously want to move it now. At the very least, it's done it's job as an ornament on their showroom floor.

Despite your doubt, it is a new "real" GTS.

Not worth it to import, considering the exchange rate, import duties, conversion fees, no free maintenance and warranty hassles.

Importing the GTS at $105k USD would cost about $148k CAD before taxes with the exchange rate, duties and fees. Almost MSRP for us, no deal to be had there.

My point is that if I could get a brand new M4 GTS at 76% of MSRP (105k USD / 137k USD), which is 117k CAD, with the 681M wheels included, I would buy it without hesitation.

I bought my Gray GTS Brand New in November for 105K plus tax, so you should be able to get at least that price now. These dealers are paying the flooring every month and should be motivated.

I'm not too certain jpd is a reputable source for an unbiased opinion on the topic--I'm noting a bit of compensation in his posts, for what may fundamentally be buyers remorse

I'd be happy to be wrong about my forward outlook for this vehicle (stateside,) however the market is simply not providing any guidance that would suggest an increasingly favorable response to the GTS in the coming days (prices keep falling and inventory remains stable ~23 new/58 total as of writing on autotrader alone.)

I do feel the pain for the buyers that spent >$110k on this car, nevertheless be well and enjoy the vehicle!

Just stating the facts trying to help potential buyers. Mine is not for sale, thank you and is, by far, the best car I ever owned. Checked all sites again and the only new one under $110,000 (bmw Encinitas) is NOT new: 459 miles and a few changes of hand.
The real deal will be 5 to 10 years from now but a car is not an investment anyway. Ask people who paid a million dollars on resale for a Porsche 911R a few months ago. Most of them are under $375,000 right now...down from $400,000 just last week.
Not just a BMW phenomenon...
Done with this topic for now. Time will tell.
Cheers!

Funny, it’s 2 years later and still ~23 new GTSs (some under sticker)still available. That’s about 6% of total production for NA still available!

The Dodge Superbird also had the same struggle at dealers when it came out but only recently (40 years) became valuable.

$105k with CF wheels!! People are really missing out if these cars sit at prices like that.

Seems like a great deal but "never registered" doesn't automatically mean typical new car miles. Anyone know the miles currently on the odometer?
