Pilot Sport Cup 2's on ZCP 666's?

Is anyone out there running these tyres on their Comp Pack?

If so, what sizes and do you have any images to share?

Really, how do you like them so far, I’m very curious of this setup. So many people are against running two different compounds tires. But with the ZCP rims we are so limited to find some good stocky tires. Especially when your tuned

245/30/20's C2's are the 'correct size' for the front 9" wheel and 285/30/20 C2's on the back would work. I'm not running these, but like you, trying to figure out what will work better than the PSS's. Concerned about the handling at higher speeds with mismatched tyres given the time and effort spent by the BMW engineers tweaking the handling... Changing wheels 'a la CS' seems like an option but big bucks.... Michelin, as you probably know, does not make a 255 or 265 in a 20". The 245's might work great, only .8" narrower than the 265 and Porsche seems to use this size on the fronts of the 911's. Still not sure what's the best course of action but leaning towards the sizes listed above in C2's

Damn ya'll savages running pilot sport cups, they tread wear is so low but i bet awesome for the track. P4s would be a middle ground but pilot sports....nice!!! Wish someone on the board worked at Michellin, wonder if theyre hiring test drivers lol...

Great thank you.

Do you not find the rears too wide? Bet they give great traction though!! Any pictures from face on?

Love this setup and will be needing rear tires soon. You mentioned you have KW HAS's setup. What was your drop distance and are you running any spacers? I currently have 15mm spacers w/ swift springs. So my drop is .4" in the rear so that's where I would need to make sure there wouldn't be any rubbing if I ran 295/30/20 in the rear. Thanks in advance.

Agree! Front doesn't match the rear... Looks weird for my taste.

THIS. (I'm assuming you meant "sticky" not "stocky")

Traction control off. It was bad enough without the tune.. but with it... ugh

Michellin Super Sports do not have traction. Or so it would seem. Is there a better option? Sport Cup II's? Different brand altogether?

I do drive with traction off quite a bit. I do have a tune. No I'm not into drag racing or tracking it, however, I would like to go forward fast when I want to and not fishtail all the way through 4th gear.

Options? First-hand experience? Are the C2's that much better?

Yes, the cup 2s are that much better. If they're warm you'll hook in second no problem. I would recommend practicing rolling into the throttle as opposed to jabbing it, can help a lot with supersports

Agreed about rolling into the throttle. Jabbing it seems to unlock ALL the torque demons from hell.

I think it looks epic.
I've just ordered the 295/30/R20 for my M4cs.
I'm also running a 12mm spacer & not sure if I am going to run into any issues.
Do you have insta?

295/30R20 PSC2 with 12mm less offset will likely be an issue.

Thanks mate,
I thought the same. Not to mention the tyre I went for is actually designed for the Porsche GT4 Cayman 11" Rear. The CS only has a 10" rear so I was wondering if it was actually going to be any better? I decided to swap back to the OEM BMW * rated 285 Cup 2 in the end. For the front I went with the BMW * rated 265/35/19 but the DT ones. Anyone know what the DT one is?
