Who tinted and who didn't?

Looks like I'm alone here. No tint for me...never liked the look unless it was on a SUV.

nope, never been stopped for tints or even when i've been pulled over for other things, they've never mentioned the tints. I know some places are worse than others but ive been all around north/central jersey and never had any problems

Tinted 35% (WA state limit is 24% VLT) and love it. Dark enough to offset the SS II but doesn't really reduce visibility that I can tell.

i'll do 20% all around when my m4 comes in. not to dark at night, but keeps the sun at bay during the day. definately protects the interior and your skin.

also looks great, it will be very first thing i do to the car

I'm going to the tint shop Saturday to get the F80 tinted. Im thinking 15% all the way around and 50 on the front windshield. My only problem is will the tint affect my HUD?

I've tinted the last 4 cars I've owned.

This one....have no plans to. I dont think it aesthetically needs it. As for heat, with the shades on the rear seats (and the power rear shade) and no moon roof to let the sun beat in....feel less of a need to do so.

...but maybe I'll change my mind once we get into summer heat.

Mineral grey+black interior in parched-land SoCal, ceramic 35% (minimum) is definitely a no brainer...

What tint did you do on the windshield? I did 20% color stable on my 4 and have thought about doing the windshield as well..

What percent as well? Do you have hud and or comfort access? I have both. Wondering if it will effect either

I used to do 15% tint but after several citations I just do 35% and call it a day.

I used to be a tint guy - now I'm a no tint guy.

I usually have a black interior though which keeps the inside slightly darker so I don't think it needs tint. Might change my mind if I got a light interior
