So playing around on my drive home last night.

Mine seemed to work ok. Admittedly after about 20secs I switched the camera off again as I was on the M'Way.

Tonight I will leave it on and see how long it lasts I guess.

Did you change any settings?

Does someone know if it is possible to code the fob to operate the convertible top on F83 without CA?

It is not possible (at least not at this point). Judging by the way things went with the E93 it may not be a possibility at all in the future.

I mentioned this in another thread, but for those who did not get drivers assistance, but got the ZLP lighting pack, were you able to code in speed limit info since the camera is there?

Seems like it could work.

The only coding that failed to work for me/not even able to find for the f8x was;

FEM_BODY > 3080 > WW_SCHEINWERFERREINIGUNG

This is headlight washer disable. Mine already said active. But the washers still function.
Headlight washers are disabled on our Shop M4, try this:

FEM_BODY > 3080 > WipeWashMaster > CLM_CCM_WASHMODE_M > nicht_aktiv/(werte = 00)

No luck with turning off amber on LED headlamps yet. Haven't really had much time to explore.
Im interested if you found the code for amber leds to be turned off (led package)

Have not had free time to do so, with other projects. Will try to get back in there shortly.

Is this what you are looking for?
This is under the Fem Body Module

Turn off Amber Side Markers next to Headlight:
3063 MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_L_OUTPUT = OFF
3063 MAPPING_SIDEMARKER_R_OUTPUT = OFF

Not sure if this ever got resolved but I was able to make that work this afternoon. My car is US spec so that might be the difference if you guys are overseas.

Alarmanlage. Does you car have it?

Also, what Head Unit does your car have?
Question for our resident expert :

On the E92, we could set the acoustic signal for locking and unlocking independently from each other on iDrive. I liked the acoustic confirmation on locking, but preferred the more stealthy silent unlocking. And that is how I had it set.

On the F8X, the acoustic signal setting on iDrive is no longer independent. I either have a sound on both lock and unlock or no sound at all.

Which brings me to my question. Is to possible through coding to have the acoustical signal on locking but not on unlocking?

Try this:

FZD => Akkustische Quittierung Entschaerfen = nicht_aktiv

FZD => Akkustische Quittierung Schaerfen = aktiv
