The more I see the Silverstone, the more I begin to like them. Great way to keep it mostly M Performance upgrades.

You really need to see ths color in the real world to truely appreciate it. Just yesterday when the sun finally came out, I noticed just how much the metallic flake pops in bright light. It was almost like it was floating over the clear coat. Impossible to see that in photos.

you could also consider wrapping the piano black pillars in a clear shield. works great especially nano fusion thats self healing

It was a tough choice for me between Mineral White and Silverstone because I love the lighter colors on the F80 very much. Your shots captured everything beautifully.

Also, I too, opted for the M-Performance exhaust. How do you enjoy it, so far? Love your car.

Thanks - I may go that route if I grow tired of the CF. I am actually debating if I want to go with CF skirts or matte black. There is such a thing as too much in my book.

Thank you!

I cannot imagine the car without the MPE. When I took delivery, they had two other F80s with stock exhaust being delivered the same day and we did a little rev time (wish I had taken video). The sound on the MPE is much deeper and for me, easier on the ears. I've always felt that the stock exhaust sounds too metallic and high pitched and was the one thing that made me doubt the car each time I heard one. Once I heard the MPE in person one time, I was sold. I also feel that the MPE makes the ASD feel less pronounced since you get much more of the actual exhaust sound in the car.

Excellent review, those are my thoughts on the matter, exactly! Very tinny sound, especially since the car is twin turbocharged.

Thank you for your reply.

Agree, Silverstone is a gorgeous colour and your pics do it justice!! On the fence about the pillar overlays but CF works so well on this colour, I can see why you added more than the MPerf parts

thanks - figured i would give the pillars a shot. these may not hold up as well as i was hoping so i may end up removing them and just going with clear bra.

Car looks great! I'm curious as to how dark are your tints. I also have a silverstone M3 and I'm toying with getting tints.

I went with SunTek Carbon 70 fronts and Carbon 18 on all the rears. Was always a 3M fan and had the Crystalline and Color Stable film on my F30 in 70/20. Harder to find shops that work with 3M film these days which is why I decided to try Suntek. Color is very similar to the 3M film I am used to and it performs just as well if not better in keeping the interior cool.
