Nice! Looking forward to seeing some side by side pics of the Gintani DPs vs. the stock ones.

Charles, what are your thoughts on the longevity of the flanges and exhaust hangers on your DPs considering they eliminate those flex sections? It seems like in the long run (not just a year or two), this could cause premature wear on certain flange welds and exhaust hangers.

Q1 - The gains at the top end appear to be huge, (7k+ rpm) but are those real or is it the dyno's inability to measure at a cars top end?
Q2 - could you just gut the cat? It looks like pipe size and bends aren't the issue. Last edited by Oaktree; 07-17-2014 at 03:30 PM.. |

glad downpipes are out but boy that price tag is unjustifiable. edit: ok maybe i was being a bit harsh on the price tag being $300 or lower...is akra going to have a full exhaust in titanium? damn that is going to be pricey. Last edited by pkimM3r; 07-17-2014 at 02:00 PM.. |

Hey continually says the dyno is DP only, no tune. Read people!
I think the price is justified for the time being and it should adjust as more products come to market.

This car is going to be so robust from a tuning standpoint, imagine an ethanol tune or meth injection with a FBO setup, man I love my E90, but I'm growing more and more impatient |

As one that has DPs on our e89 N54, it is well worth it considering the $ to hp/tq gain. I first bought Eisenmann Race and it is great, but at over $3k I should have just bought the DPs and left it alone.
Buy the DPs, then see if you need anything else. I would save the crazy M Performance Exhaust money, buy the DPs instead and do other performance upgrades with the savings - or just take a hot girl to Cabo for the week. |

Looking good! A set of these may be in our future for our R&D M3.
Quality products deserve a premium price. You get what you paid for these days. Most of us want quality, performance and value, NOT price point. |

Toyota tuner same parts same material = 25% the price of a bimmer part. And we will pay for it. Can't blame them for running a business and knowing how to market and make money
Good gains good job Gintani |

Just my opinion but I don't see where the extra value is compared to similar product at half the price! |

I'm aware that no tuning has been done but I don't understand why there are only gains at the beginning and end of the powerband? And, why they come together (like buttocks ) at 4250-5300 rpm?
Can anyone explain? |
