Blues or Yellows? I only do the rolls at the track 5-6 days per year.

Great info here. Super helpful.
These silver wheels are unbearably dirty after just a few days of driving after washing.

Also wanted to add in case anyone wants to keep running the sensors, appears EBC part #EFA164 and EFA165 would be the ticket at around $18/ea. |

I need to do the brakes on 15 M4 steel disk. I see that the part numbers for the front brakes on this post is DP32130C along with what EBC is showing on their website. However when I go to ECS or just look up the red ebc brakes for a M4 the part number is DP32360C. The first part number is for non M cars? My question is what is the correct part number for the front brakes?

Interestingly enough, I originally ordered the DP32130C fronts but ended up ordering the DP32360C after the fact, based on searching around. EBC's website isn't the most user friendly for looking up applications.
I haven't installed them so can't comment as to fitment or function (yet) |

I'm on base blue steelies…not ceramic rotors or calipers.

I have the DP32160C in front. Technically not the right part number for our vehicles but that being said, with only a 100 or so miles and still breaking them in, I haven't noticed any issues. I wonder if there are any compound differences between the two because I believe they are the same physical shape. They looked identical to my OEMs IIRC. I did not take a pic of the pads side by side. |

I'm not sure that they make RefStuff compatible with the carbon brakes, since the pads have the Brake-In coating that would scour carbon discs.

Ok for anyone still wondering, finally had both set of pads in front of me. -130C and -360C and guess what? They appear to be 100%the exact same pad.
The applications on the side of the box are different. The -360C specifically lists the F8x variants but other than that- , size, shape everything is the same. Oh well the price is different as the -360C clearly comes with an M tax, but otherwise the-130C will work in out cars. Moral of the story? Always listen to Top Jimmy! |

Physically I expected them to be the same shape. I emailed EBC to ask if there were any compound differences between the pads. No reply for a long while now. Until they tell me otherwise, my guess is it's likely the same compound given that it's a Red pad. Looks like it's just M tax. |

I went to sema and stopped by the EBC booth and asked him the question I had earlier in this post this was his response.
Thank you stopping by the booth at Sema, if I recall correctly we were wanting to find out what the difference between the two part number DP32130C & DP32360C, the pads do look similar to each other but are different in size only by 2mm in length but the biggest difference is the attracted weights they are difference sizes. See attached drawings and picture. Hopes this helps if not please let me know if you need anymore help out. Last edited by SikkS1K; 11-09-2022 at 12:50 PM.. |

Interesting thanks. Honestly I didn't even think of comparing the weights. I wonder what the implications are of using one over the other in our F8x cars..?

I like how the 32360 has smaller weights!
Better brake clearance to the wheel barrels.

Try the new BlueStuff. I hear they stop better and still don't squeak, and the dust is livable. If you just want minimal dust then Reds are a good pick.

I'm just getting through the break-in on the reds. Impressions so far are favorable. EBC states noise and some dust should be expected the first few hundred miles. I got both. Noise is now gone and time will tell on the dust, but so far noticeably way less than the dust from the OEM pads. Brake performance feels similar to OEM, but I haven't really pushed them on this street car.
As of now I will likely keep these as OEM replacements. My only real dislike is that you can see the red pads in the blue calipers and it looks like I have a mini superman behind each wheel |
