I think it's a reasonable price for the rare color and he millage. Just hang on to it for a while and you will find the right buyer. there is no shortage of $$$ in the bay area...

I don't understand people trashing this thread.... not in the market to buy? not interested? just move on. If the seller is totally off they will realize and adjust....

good luck !

If a person wants to ask 200K for it I don't see the issue. The market will decide what price something is worth and you could just let this be a for sale thread and not be dick and he will have to adjust accordingly if he wants to sell. Just goes to show that this community has a lot of trolls and negative nancys.

People who buy an outgoing model M3 with terrible depreciation for a profit are foolish. People who buy an outgoing M3 with terrible depreciation on a public forum then try to flip it on that same forum for a 10% profit are idiotic.

Any person can try to sell a car for profit if they want. The bottom line is this car is not worth a dollar over $60k.

This is a public forum where people come to find info about their own cars value. An unrealistic sale thread is more damaging to the community then people openly telling someone they are way off on pricing. The facts are facts, OP go to a local dealer and you will be lucky to see an offer over $55k.

Got no qualms with seller setting whatever price they want...but any potential buyer who has read all the previous posts blasting this sale will have exited post haste.

Keep in mind people tend to haggle down from the asking price, so starting high might allow him to get to where he wants (which would be slightly less than what he got it for).

Say a car like this leases for ~800, him using it for 2 months = 1600 less = $66,900 or so (which I still think is high, considering I've seen lower mileage better condition ones for ~57 or less). If you factor in it being an individual color you could add 5k (MSRP) for a price of ~62 or so. Mods shouldn't add that much value but if you added them anyways it'd probably place it around 64 or so.
Come on man act like if OP got an offer for 72k he would say "no I only want 66."

He's trying to make money on a car he bought off a forum member 4 months ago with more miles. Plain and simple.
What's wrong with doing this? Honestly.

Have you never sold something for more than you bought it for?

I recently bought an old Toyota Landcruiser for $2k. Did I buy it because I needed or wanted a Landcruiser? No. I bought it because it was a good deal and I know I can easily sell it for $4-5k and probably will. Are you going to slander me for this?
Libel is written; slander is spoken. And yes it's wrong considering the audience. This is not a site where members normally/intentionally screw over members.

FWIW - I'm the original owner and sold it to the OP. I am not offended in the least about him asking more then he paid. And he's right...if the market produces a buyer willing to pay his asking price or relatively close to it...who's to say otherwise? The exhaust on the car alone is near impossible to get. The thing that makes this LSB example rare is the cloth seats. There are very few if any LSB cars with cloth seats. Good luck OP!

The SJW Price Police who get *triggered* by Capitalism. A good is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and seller can ask whatever price they want. Doesn't mean the seller can't make money on it, nor does it mean someone will buy it at the asking price. In the end, the market decides. Some people have a problem with that, in which case they can go kick rocks.

Only commenting because it's a badass car, so why not take the opportunity to keep it bumped? Nice car OP and GLWS.

STFU man. What's worse? Me commenting on the price of cars on a forum or you finding my posts in other threads and adding your nonsense? I say the latter.

The lease take over CS's I see on this forum are asking for their MSD of $5,000, which new lessee would get back at the end of the lease.

And not too many are moving, proving my point that multiple MSD is a silly idea if you MIGHT want to get out of the lease at some point.

and bump! Very cool car.

Very nice car here: color, exhaust, lights, full clearbra all are expensive and very tasty mods. If I were looking for an LSB F80 I'd certainly float the OP an offer.

As a data point a used AW M3CS with 12k miles just last week sold very quickly for $64k in Richmond VA.

Saw that CS as well, sold pretty fast. Disappointing that they lose value so much in such a short time.

Tell me about it. Let's not think about what happens when all 590 of the 607 in the US come off lease next year.
