Pardon my ignorance, if the fuel injectors are the limiting piece here, is it possible for it to be as simple as upgrading injectors to be able to hold the power (more so) to redline? I am ultimately wondering if it is possible to hold 500whp to redline stock turbos without PI or METH

Also, OP, with these mods, did you find any power gains with the test pipes (or should i say restriction with the secondary cats), or was it more for sound/volume?

Thanks,

I'm already working on getting some aftermarket injectors lined up. Stand-by on that front.

Very cool man, I look forward to seeing what that does in conjunction with what you have already accomplished

its actually recommended to run through a tank of gasoline every few thousand miles but I'm wondering if e85 treatments will make it so we dont have to do this? trying to avoid reflashing over and over to gas map although it would probably only be every 5k miles or so.

I usually recommend a tank of gas every 3-4k miles. 3-5 would be fine too, mostly likely.

Yeah, I've seen good results with this stuff as well...However, nothing beats a tank of gasoline. I'm serious.

like 5 minutes work..

Can you share more details on the benefits of cycling a tank of pump gas every 4-5k miles.

In SoCal, your E85 is pretty good year-round. There is no way in hell I would run piss-91 over E85, even if the E85 was really E60....it will still give you great performance. Luckily, the E85 in SoCal is usually pretty close to 85% in most places.
Can you use medical use Ethanol E83 blend ?? I was wondering if its the same thing? Ones you buy from pharmacists.

Hey ~ Cary ~

Just wondering when running a full Ethanol set up ~ is there a risk of

gunking up fuel system lines and filter?

I recommend running a tank of pump gas through the engine every 3-5k miles. I've been running straight E85 for over 7 months now with zero issues and I've only pump gas one time during this period.

The S55 fuel system is very stout.

E85 is roughly 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. I doubt what you're talking about is mixed with gasoline, I've personally never heard of pharmacy-grade E81, but I can almost guarantee it isn't mixed with gasoline. I'll have to do some research on what this actually is.

Curious on longevity with this tune, what’s the air fuels and are you maxed out at +30% fuel trims?

E85 is an extremely safe fuel, detonation-wise. I've personally been running it for over 7 months straight now, in the M4 I developed this tune on. Zero Issues.

Trims are not maxed out at all, LTFT's (1/2) are tuned to be within +/- 5% of "ZERO" correction. I spend quite a bit of time tuning to keep trims in this range, actually.

CaryTheLabelGuy have you had any experiences with this tune on a stock DCT transmission? I'm interested in going full e85 as well but I'm worried about the transmission slipping due to high torque numbers.
