i kinda like it, but not for the car. I think I may sport an M logo for the wall in my garage. How bright are these and how far away can they be installed?

If these came standard on all M cars we would all think they were awesome and all the non M guys would be adding them to their cars...

That being said, I have mixed feelings for myself, but if I did this mod it would be so I see the logo when I get in the car, and I think it's cool. Not because I want to impress anyone.

It's not like we have a 96 mustang we are installing angel eyes in...

I'm pretty sure you can rig something up. At least from the pictures it looks bright enough at night or in darkness

Your issue with the walls or floor with be focal length. These are made to produce a focused image at around 18" from the floor. At several feet the image will most likely blur.

Yes just like the illuminated m badge on the seat, everybody likes it because it came with the car.

It's your car so your call. I have it on my Range Rover (came standard) and while it's interesting it's not my cup of tea.

I actually have the M puddle lights, very cool and very subtle in person. For the most part your gonna be the only one seeing it since to enter and exit your car is about 5 seconds.

On the other hand I would suggest that if you have issues with worrying about what others think of you, this is not for you.

I just just got these. Was 50/50 when I purchased them. Told myself if it didn't work out for the M, I'll use it for the X5 with the X logo. We have this on the Range Rover so it's not too bad.

I thought it was super tacky at first but then it's now an OEM BMW accessory. Gave it a try. Please see the pics.

Why did you take the door trim off? Doesn't it just pop in and out underneath? I think some small cutting is required but still...

Kind of like the Bat Symbol. It could be "the announcement" for a ///M get together.

Perfect, if you're driving a 335i with M-Sport Package.
