CCBs have been more durable than steel brakes, but thats not the problem ... just for example they are very sensitive to small stones, if they fall into the brake - a trip into the gravel and the brake could be over ... and a new CCB disk can easily cost almost as much as half of the surcharge for the complete CCBs.

Garett e-mail including news saying, that they have developed new single-scroll turbo (for twin setup) for an inline6 direct injection engine with 415HP.
They did not mentioned wheather it will be fo new M3/M4, but very likely based on the mentioned above parameters. We are also developing upgraded turbos for F10 M5/M6, where Garett is used i strongly beleive, that some design by Garett will be applied on the M3/M4 turbos (which means, that these M3/M4 turbos will not last forever). |

1) The 4 series coupe options have been revealed (see here). Full LED head light is shown as an option, but we have already seen what these look like (see here) - and they do not look like the 4 Series Concept lights. 2) No M4 nor 4 Series prototypes have ever been spotted with headlights in the style of the 4 Series Concept (hexagonal and extending towards the kidney grilles).

Says in the article:
This particular F82 M4 coupe prototype was wearing Continental ContiSportContact tires - 275/35 rear (like F80 M3). Other prototypes (F80 M3) in the past have been spied with Michelin Pilot Super Sport: 255/35/19 (front), 275/35/19 (rear)

The benefit of LED technology now is that lights not only get brighter but become much smaller in unit shape. We will probably see something like the concepts on a future model. The production 4er Coupe launch is imminent and M4 Cabrio prototypes have started to show up at the FIZ.

Seeing as all of us here are passionate for two door M cars, I'm gonna go off topic slightly. I've never owned an American sports car, but I'm curious what this group of enthusiasts think of the new C7 Stingray. Like it? Hate it? The numbers I'm seeing are getting my attention. And my big gripe about past Vetts, the crapy interior seem to have been addressed. 2014/15 there will be a new car in my stable... M4 or Z51 Stingray. Very different sports cars for sure, but a zero to 60 under 4 seconds get my attention along with the new modern looks.
What do you think??

How long does it take to implement changes to the headlights? I couldn't imagine that it would be that long.

Are there going to be two models for sure , m3 and m4 ?
If so, this one sits pretty high in front much like the xdrive models, any chance we'll see a surprise all wheel drive m4 and standard m3 ?
