While it looks like you do quality work, it blows my mind that you bought the 8k brakes, and then painted them, and spent the 1k on suspension and then pulled it off.
Also not a fan of the gold wheels. Again, though, good quality work, I just question the choices. |

Thank god you changed the wheels from that tacky gold shit, and while I usually love hyper silver-esque wheels on BMWs (and Porsches!), not so much on a near-murdered out car like this. I usually hate black wheels, but this example looks good.
I feel you guys went wrong with painting the calipers. But oh well. |

IMO those painted calipers look like ass. But I didn't pay for them so as long as you're happy, then I'm happy for you guys. Mod away.....!

Modding makes this black on black car look like an M sport 435i that wants to look better than an M4, and isn't an M4.
IMHO the car looks best in the very first pic. Modding may be better on a SO exterior or an AY exterior. But, the black sapphire is already dangerously close looking to a M435i, and only the grills, brakes, and black stock wheels draw a clear line. |

$91k build...ouch! Looks killer though... Especially after you changed out the yellow caliper paint and put on the silver wheels.

Agree with others. I'm not sure I'd paint over BMWs factory paint on an 8200 dollar brake kit, but not my money.
Also, 19s just look the part on this M4. They look much more mean and purposeful. |

Can someone explain the deal with the bronze wheels? I've never understood why anyone would want to put them on a car because at best, they never match anything else on the car (paint, badges, etc) and at worst, they clash with the rest of the car.
Other than for some reason it is/was a "thing" for Subarus, what is the draw?

Personally I would never change the stock rims. The stock rims are beautiful, yet aggressive. And the gold calipers meshed so well.
Leave it alone! Lol I'd only add a few carbon parts. Like a diffuser or lip. But that car looks amazing as is. Simple = sexy |

I don't understand why people are commenting like painting calipers is such a big deal. I have a much bigger problem with changing the suspension, but at least my gripe has to do with changing (possibly degrading) the performance of the car... Caliper paint is just a cosmetic mod.

19's in satin black are the perfect wheel to tire ratio for this car!!!

Really love the silver rims. Unexpected.
Also, I would have kept the calipers yellow. Would have looked horrible with the rose gold rims, but with anything else (black, gunmetal, silver) and a BSM car, they are |
