The OCD doesn't end with the tracking, here is what my detailing is going to look like when I get her in my garage.

1. Rinse
2. Foam gun (With Dawn to remove any waxes or grease)
3. Rinse
4. Foam Gun
5. Agitate with mit
6. Dry
7. Decontaminate (Ironx)
8. Rinse
9. Clay Bar
10. Polish
11. Foam Gun
12. Agitate with mit
13. Dry
14. Glaze
15. Hydro 2 coating to the entire car

I will just throw some protection onto the leather and dash and maybe the engine bay.
Looks pretty thorough....dry by hand or using a leaf blower?

I pretty OCD about cleaning my car as well...
My last black car was an 06 Mustang GT Conv, and I resorted to using a leaf blower to dry the car even though I had good quality micro-fiber drying towels (Sonus)

I'm actually planning to have either Opti-Coat Pro or CQuartz Finest applied to my M3 after taking delivery.

Leaf blower lol. Best $20 investment. It's not that great on a car that is stripped of wax but once you get a wax/sealant on there, its amazing.

I've thought about cquartz but honestly I like to polish and wax my car so I don't want something that lasts forever lol

Yea when they sent the pic from PCD you can see that the car still is wet. He said its been raining everyday.

Still throw up some pics of it wet and the inside!

Yea, I worried that I would get the car back with a ton of swirls but from what I've heard, PCD does a great job at the initial detail. Will save me some time when I detail it myself.

They have been more than accommodating for my every request.

Flight was scheduled to leave at 7:25 am today. Was boarded on the plane and just told we had to get off the plane due to weather in Greenville. Looks like it delayed until 9am. Not going to pretty if they cancel my flight.

Not a good way to start off this trip

Just an FYI-- I have a BSM, I complained about how BAD my finish looked. This is my third BSM in a row.. Other two were fine. This one, I'm sure completely due to the selling dealership, completely worthless.

Anyway- found a new dealership, had the BMWNA rep meet me there last week.

Getting the entire car re-polished, and if that does not do it, they will repaint the car. It is THAT bad.

I hardly had to say a word, once the rep saw it it was game over.
Just an FYI for guys.. Was 4 weeks old and 2,276 miles on the clock.. So, not everyone has to pay for a paint correction. It's a warrantee issue. If it's legitimately their fault.
